A Point of Sale That Matches the Shelf

Most shops lose money in the gap between what the till says and what is actually on the shelf. We build POS systems that track every sale against stock in real time, take M-Pesa at the counter, and close the day with figures you can trust.

  • Sales, stock and suppliers in one system, across every branch
  • M-Pesa at the till — no separate phone, no manual matching
  • Keeps selling when the internet drops, then syncs

Who this is for

You need this if closing the day is guesswork

If your stock count and your sales record only agree after someone spends an evening on it, the system is costing you more than it saves.

  • Shops, minimarts and supermarkets
  • Pharmacies and chemists needing batch and expiry tracking
  • Restaurants, cafés and bars with table or counter service
  • Hardware, agrovet, spare parts and building supplies
  • Boutiques, electronics and any business selling by barcode
  • Businesses running two or more branches that must report as one
What you get

Everything included

  • Fast counter sale. Barcode scanning, quick keys, held bills, split payment, returns and refunds.
  • Real stock control. Every sale moves stock, with reorder alerts, batch and expiry tracking where you need it.
  • M-Pesa at the till. The customer pays by STK Push or Till, and the sale closes automatically on confirmation.
  • eTIMS-ready invoicing. Tax invoices in the format KRA requires, so compliance is not a separate scramble.
  • Cashiers and shifts. Per-cashier logins, shift open and close, cash drawer counts and variance reports.
  • Multi-branch. Each branch sells independently, head office sees all of it in one dashboard.
  • Offline mode. Sales continue on a local machine when the connection drops and sync when it returns.
  • Hardware that works. We specify and set up scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers and tills.

How it works

From counter walkthrough to first sale

1. We watch you sell

An hour at your counter tells us more than a requirements document. We learn your products, pricing and busy-hour pressure.

2. Build and load your stock

We configure the system and import your actual product list, prices and suppliers.

3. Go live beside you

We are at the counter on day one, train every cashier, and stay reachable through the first month.

Questions

POS questions

How much does a POS system cost in Kenya?

A single-till shop system starts around KSh 60,000 and runs to KSh 120,000 with full stock control. A shop with a stockroom and several tills is KSh 120,000 to KSh 250,000, and multi-branch setups start around KSh 250,000. Hardware is separate and bought at cost.

Will it keep working when the internet goes down?

Yes. The till runs against a local database so selling never stops, and it syncs to the cloud when the connection returns. For shops on unreliable connections this is usually the deciding feature.

Can it handle more than one branch?

Yes. Each branch operates independently with its own stock and cashiers, while head office sees consolidated sales, stock and margins across all of them in one dashboard.

Does it produce KRA-compliant tax invoices?

We build the invoicing to the format KRA's eTIMS requires and integrate with it where your business is obliged to. Tell us your tax setup during scoping and we will confirm exactly what applies to you.

Can customers pay by M-Pesa at the counter?

Yes. The cashier triggers an STK Push to the customer's phone, or the customer pays your Till, and the sale closes automatically when Safaricom confirms — no reading SMS messages, no manual matching.

Can you migrate the stock list from our current system?

Usually yes. Send us an export from your existing system or even a spreadsheet, and we will import products, prices, suppliers and opening stock so you are not retyping thousands of items.
